The ‘Sueto Mix’ of ‘Metropolis‘ is little more than a rearrangement, in similar style to ‘Papua New Guinea (Monsoon Mix)‘ and ‘People Livin’ Today (Deep Field Mix)‘: effectively, all the elements of the original are present, but offered up in a different order, with some slightly different arrangements. The mix feels slightly more spacious than the original, with emphasis given to the between-sections and breakdowns, with slightly less use of the main melodic theme. Ultimately, a very useful DJ tool for throwing the track into live sets that require a slightly different emphasis, but as a listening entity, offers comparatively that little the original lacks.
