The second of three remixes of Nomad’s ‘Your Love is Lifting Me’, and of three mixes the band did using the name Deep Field. It’s never been clear whether Deep Field was considered an alias, or simply a naming convention: a large number of FSOL remixes don’t feature the band’s name anywhere in the title. Largely built around the housier elements of the original track, the Deep Field mix plays as a smooth, somewhat laid back, club-friendly remix. Fairly low on unusual sample choices and confrontational rave elements, the track plays out as one of the most conventional sounding tracks in the entire Dougans / Cobain catalogue.
The single featuring the remix charted at number 60 in the UK, making it the most widely bought Dougans / Cobain production at the time.
