Amorphous Androgynous – Yes My Brother

Released on:
The Isness

Runtime: 0:53

A brief interlude, only available on the 2002 Abbey Road/mispress version of The Isness. A short funk track, it’s a bizarre inclusion when so many full tracks were left off this version of the album. The mispress liner notes feature the only post-’90s reference to Philip Pinn, with the superbly named “crotch-o-matic bass modulation”. The track would go on to form the basis of the Alice in Ultraland track ‘The Prophet’, while the title and drums would be leant to ‘Yes My Brother (You Gotta Turn Yourself Around)’ from the same album.

Credits
Written by Cobain, Dougans.
Crotch-o-matic bass modulation – Philip Pinn.
