Five months after the release of Teachings from the Electronic Brain (The Best of FSOL), four rare tracks, the entries for the ‘rarity’ section of the EP voting site, came out as a ‘Rare Tracks Edition’ of the compilation. The title suggests it’s the full album plus rare tracks, which isn’t quite true, as it’s a standalone EP. Nevertheless, it’s a nice little collection for those who haven’t already delved deep into the band’s catalogue: two tracks from Promo 500 – ‘Herd Killing’ getting its first ever digital release – and two from the black ISDN.
