Opening, oddly, with ‘Just a Fuckin Idiot‘s opening environment, the second Wighnomy Brothers remix of ‘Lifeforms‘ is much more obviously connected to the original single than the ‘001-06 Re-Edit’. The main chords from the album version/’Path 3′ run throughout the track, while Talvin Singh’s tablas from ‘Path 5‘ and vocals from ‘Path 2‘ are also present. Intriguingly, sounds from ‘Omnipresence‘, ‘Life Form Ends‘ and ‘Eyes Pop – Skin Explodes – Everybody Dead‘ are also included. Gabor Schablitzki is clearly a FSOL fan. It’s a decent mellow techno track that reinterprets the original material in an intriguing way, and a pleasant enough listen.
